We had a great turnout with 38 participants. The location was great; each section had its own quiet room. The kids had a lot of fun playing serious chess.

Novice section: Kartik Kulkarni (highest tie-breaker), Naveen Yarlagadda, and Glen Liu, with 3.5/4.0
Unrated section: Prasith Sriam (highest tie-breaker), Ritvik Kona, and Max Schaffer, with 3.0/4.0
Biggest Upset: Yutika Raina with a win over an opponent 245 points stronger
Chess Puzzles Solving: Duy Nguyen and Emily Nguyen had 11 correct answers, but Duy finished it in less time
David Hsieh gained 73 points to reach 1,518. Glen Liu gained 70 points to get to 1,001.
