Austin Kids #11 - Results

We had a record turnout with 52 players (13 in Open, 10 in U1400, and 39 in U900). The Open section had 2 Class-A players; another Class-A player pre-registered but could not make it. The U900 had quite a few new faces, including 5 first-time tournament goers.

Vasfi/Doru Gucer and Mike/Eric Ingram: 1st place Parent/Child teams.
Daniel Xiong: Biggest Upset for defeating an opponent over 500 points stronger.

Emily Nguyen was playing simultaneous games with U1400/U900 players.

We also added $230 in fundraising for Emily's trip to the 2010 World Youth Chess Championships.
